Nanotechnology

This is the new big thing that can do things that we cannot even imagine yet. Think of all the big problems that we are facing right now such as global warming, clean water, and diseases. Nanotechnology can help every single one of these problems. A nanometer is 100,000 times thinner than a human hair, and that is key, for a couple reasons. When scientists take particles and shrink them down to the nanometer, they start to behave very differently than what they would usually. They get excited and move quicker, because there is less room for the electrons. Scientists have made many things including even nanomotors. We now think that would could make solar energy so much more efficient than what it is today all because of nanotechnology. We even think that in the future we will be able to repair human tissue like the heart, lungs, and even brain using nanotechnology. This could even be the cure for cancer, and many other incurable diseases. There is also a bad side to nanotechnology, because of the fact that it is small enough to get into our cells. If someone were to get a hold of this technology and use it for evil they could make a nanovirus, which would get inside our cells and change them attacking us from the inside out. As we go forward with this in the future we need to make sure that we keep track of what people are doing with this technology to ensure that it is used for good and not evil.

Hologram

Say goodbye to your stupid 3-D glasses, because in the future there will be no need for them. There is a new type of hologram, the only problem is that right now it only displays still images, but it is only a matter of time before they get it perfected. To see the full article click here.
